Questions
How long does it take to play?
Plan on about three hours with dinner. The game takes about 80 minutes of it: introductions over drinks, a round of clues after the starters, after the main course and with pudding, then accusations over coffee and the reveal.
Can we play without alcohol?
Yes. Switch on Alcohol-free when you order and every drink in your kit becomes a soft one. At the country house, the mulled wine turns into spiced apple punch and the champagne into sparkling elderflower. Nobody needs a drink to play.
How many players?
6 to 12 adults, you included. Put your own name on the list and you play a suspect too. Read only your own character sheet, ask a guest to fill the clue envelopes and keep the solution sealed, and you won't know who did it either.
What do I need to print?
A home printer, plain A4 paper, scissors and three envelopes per guest for the clue cards. A kit for 8 is 19 pages. The clue cards and name cards need a few straight cuts, and the name cards fold to stand on the table.
What happens to my guests' names?
We use their first names only to write your kit, and we delete them within 7 days of sending it. We never ask for surnames. Nothing you type here leaves this page until you press send on your own order email.
